Another Abhishek arrives

He is one of the most melodious singers of present generation. He did playback for movies like Ahista and Hasil and his CV boast albums like Udaas Pani & Raat Chand Aur Main.The latter has legendary Gulzar Sahib as lyricist.

Abhishek Ray is with his latest release, Rittu, speaks of the magic of the six Indian seasons. The music and conceptualization is by him while Shanti Sharma & Aude Priya Engel have supplemented with female vocals and lyrics penned by Nusrat Badr & Manvender.

The music is predominantly Indo-classical and Rittu is all about Indian seasons and their magic. The songs read: Grisham, Varsha, Patjhar, Hemant, Shishir, Vasant.

With a sound foundation in Indian classical laid by his parents who taught him ragas and raginis,thats why Ray believes only in original.
