Heyy Babyy Review

Heyy Babyy is a comic jape that has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by director turned comedian Sajid Khan (Ekke Pe Ekka fame). The film stars Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh and Indian beauty Vidya Balan. The film seems to be inspired from the Hollywood block buster the Three Men and a Baby. The music has been composed by the trio Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.

Sajid Khan, the debutant director of Heyy Babyy has been well known for his funny-n-witty repartees. His first major venture HEYY BABYY is a glimpse of what he is being known for in the bollywood since a decade. He not only amalgamates funny situations and emotional moments with ease, but also makes a convincing, wholesome film that is able to bind the crowd to there seat.

Akshay Kumar wooing Vidya Balan in the other half of the interval is uproarious.
Chemistry between the trios Akshay - Ritesh – Fardeen is excellent. 18 guest appearance adds more glamour to movie. The baby due to her innocence leaves a smile on your face.
The reaction of the crowd with the appearance of Shahrukh Khan is just mind blowing.
The trade mark of Sajid Khan, one liner keeps you on waiting for second one.

Heyy Babyy is not merely an inspiration of THREE MEN AND A BABY but much more than it. It’s obvious that you would make comparisons of THREE MEN AND A BABY and HEYY BABYY as both have a similar frame work of confirmed bachelors who all at once discover the joys of fatherhood when a baby is left at their doorstep, but the connection end there. After all that Heyy Babyy is completely a new story.
HEYY BABYY also works as the script is realistic and the journey from the beginning till the end is well woven. Of course, there are trivial anomalies, but that can be ignored as the whole film is an awesome package.

The trailers were full of energy and zest that achieved in creating a buzz around the movie. So does the movie live up to the high expectations?

Hey Babby is a brilliant movie. Well done Sajid Khan! It is a treat to see him handling the emotional scenes with expertise. The story, screenplay, editing score heavily. But the best part of the film is choreography and the music. I have not seen a better video in my life than of the three men with a baby in the song ‘Meri Duniya.’ See it for yourself to believe it. Meri Duniya by Shankar, Ehsaan Loy is a fantastic melodious song and in fact the most hummable song of the year. Hear it to believe it.
