AIIMS crisis resolved – doctors strike called off

With in no time of the High Court order to center government to take immediate action to resolve AIIMS crisis, Union Health Minister A. Ramadoss agreed to sign Doctors degrees of AIIMS.

According to Ramadoss all the resident doctors will get their degrees by September 25. Those doctors who in a hurry to abroad can get their degrees with in next two days, he said.

Meanwhile resident doctors have called off their strike. Earlier in the day a Delhi High Court bench comprising Chief Justice M.K. Sharma and Justice Sanjeev Khanna said, Government must act to sort out the problems. If you (centre) do it today then its ok but if you fail to resolve the crisis then we have to take action. The bench also said that the government can not deny certificates to doctors.
