Dhokha - Review

Pooja Bhatt’s latest venture ‘Dhoka’ touches the controversial and burning issue of terrorism.
The story is written by her father, the famous Mahesh Bhatt that carries a Muslim angle to it.

‘Dhoka’ launches newcomer Muzammil Ibrahim, the model turned actor in its main lead. He plays Zaid Ahmed in the movie, a young cop in Mumbai police. Zaid is completely committed to his service and is appreciated by his colleagues for his perseverance.

Zaid Ahmed (Muzamil Ibrahim) who always thought that he knew his gorgeous and innocent wife Sarah (Tulip Joshi) fully. With their exquisite times together, they had a wonderful life together that seemed just ideal but one things changes drastically.

A bomb explosion rocks the city. While Zaid helps the sufferers of the blast, his life smashed up when he finds the deceased body of his beautiful wife Sarah (Tulip Joshi ).

At initial it seems Sarah, too, is a victim of the attack. But inquiry discloses that she was in reality the suicide bomber.

Scandalous because it bowed out that Sarah was the person accountable for the bomb blast also Sarah was the person in charge for death of dozens of people

Without taking any biasness, ‘Dhoka’ endeavor to divulge the real face of terrorism.
Mahesh Bhatt, who is himself a half Muslim, calls the film “the tone of a modern modest Muslim”.

Pooja Bhatt says ‘Dhoka’ doesn’t validate terrorism in any way. It only shows a viewpoint about why people blow themselves up. What makes them to this level?

Also starring is the Bad man of bollywood Gulshan Grover and Ashutosh Rana in key roles.‘Dhoka’ is third directorial attempt by Pooja Bhatt after here much acclaimed movies like Paap and Holiday.
