Many Head changes for Army
With Lt General Deepak Kapoor set to take over as new Army Chief on oct 1, the Defense Ministry had announced many other reshuffles in top brass of Army.
Lt Gen Milan Lalit Kumar Naidu will be the new Vice Chief of Army staff.
Another decorated officer Lt Gen T.K. Sapru was named to head the Western Command.
Lt Gen N.Thamburaj has been named the Chief of Army’s Southern Command. He will take over from Lt Gen Aditya Singh on Oct 1.
Lt Gen J.K. Mohanty will be new Commander of Army Training Command Shimla.
