Johnny Gaddaar review
After his first film Ek Hasina Thi, Director Sriram Raghavan is back again but this time he is here with a suspense thriller Johnny Gaddaar in which he introduced Neil Nitin Mukesh, grandson of legendry singer Mukesh and son of another singer Nitin Mukesh.
In the year 2007 public had witnessed a large number of suspense thrillers like Manorama Six Feet Under, Red, Aggar, Raqeeb and so on but most of these films failed to create a buzz and attract audience to theaters.
But Johnny Gaddaar seems to be bit different because in the movie viewer knows who is the gaddaar and ends up killing each one of his gang but one gun shot brings another twist in the end.
Johnny Gaddaar is a thriller focusing on a city’s notorious nightlife. The story revolves around a gang of five men-Prakash,Vikram ( Niel Nitin Mukesh), Sheshadri( Dharamendra), Shardul and Daya.
Johnny Gaddaar is an interesting story with different shades of human character like greed, betrayal, corruption, love, desperation and murder and Raghavan had proved once again that how good storyteller he is. According to critics the beauty lies in the fact that no one can predict what’s in store next. Just when you think that the film would head left, it goes right, catching you completely unawares. And Raghavan continues to shock and startle you till the last frame.
If we talk about the performance then certainly Neil Mukesh is one of the best finds of this year for Bollywood. As debut his film Neil lefts an impact on public. Dharamendra has shown once again that age is no bar for a good actor. Rimi Sen also did a good job and Vinay Pathak once again showed that how good actor he is becoming day by day.
Overall a good attempt by Raghavan and good performances by actors put Johnny Gaddaar in the front list of the good films released in 2007.

The movie is really good. Niel is OK in his acting. After long time i saw a thriller which was made beautifully and with good brians[something that Bollywood dont use normally]
