Bilal brothers arrested in Hyderabad blast case
The police, on Saturday, said they have arrested the younger brother of a suspect in the twin blasts- Shahed Bilal and his associate on charges of terror and causing communal disturbances in the city.
Mohd Abdul Majeed (19), younger brother of Bilal, an alleged activist of terror outfit Harkat-ul-Jihadi-Islami (HuJI), and Mohd Shakeel alias Moulana were held on Friday, a release from the Police Commissioner office said.
Shakeel (25) is a close associate and childhood friend of Bilal, who is wanted in the August 25 blasts here, and is wanted in atleast three criminal cases, it said.
However, it was not clear if the arrest was linked to the last month’s blasts that killed 43 persons in the city.
