BHOOL BHULAIYA movie review (Bhool Bhulaiyaa)
BHOOL BHULAIYAA, a remake of the Malayalam hit MANICHITRATHAZHU, can be a shock or pleasant surprise for Priyadarshan and Akashay Kumar fans because this film is complete departure from Priyan’s films style.
BHOOL BHULAIYAA is a movie with minimal doses of comedy, suspense, thriller and good use of nice songs and above all good performances.
Story revolves around Sidharth (Shiney Ahuja), who returns from America with his modern thinking wife Avni (Vidya Ballan) to his ancestral palace. Suddenly things start getting scary after Avni opens (a not to be open) door. Things start to get bad to verse for every member of family (Paresh Rawal, Manoj Joshi and Rajpal Yadav).
Siddharth instinctively finds the solution in his dynamic Doctor friend Aditya (Akshay Kumar). When Dr. Aditya finds his way into the mansion, he is a man on a mission. He just had to find the cause of all the upheaval before the effects caused more harm than could be imagined and after the introduction of Akshay’s character things only get better.
You can’t overlook the fact that BHOOL BHULAIYAA is an extremely well-shot film
Music composer Pritam is in top with. ‘Hare Krishna Hare Ram‘ song.
Performance wise Akashay had once again proved that why Priyan Akki combo is so successful. Shiney makes an impact as Sidharth but the revelation of the film is Vidya Ballan.
Characheter of Amisha
Patel, Paresh Rawal and others are well defined and used by Priyan.
The only drawback with the movie is its slow paced second half and people who will be looking for Priyan Akki humor will be disappointed.
BHOOL BHULAIYAA is not the usual run-of-the-mill fare. It would be interesting to see how the viewer reacts to the film. BHOOL BHULAIYAA is glossy, stylish and well executed, technically speaking. But Priyan treads a difficult path.

I totally agree with you I was in theater waiting for more of comedy shows with the same jokes but
BHOOL BHULAIYAA just comes to you as a surprise with good direction and best performance as usual from Akki Vidya is doing very well and other actors too Watch the movie don’t mis it better to term as the best movie after Chak de.

Great movie! Must See movie! amazing story! Great music, acting, direction, overrall a movie completely that makes sense! Do not skip this, you will not be disappointed at this movie!
This movie was really a bhool bhulaiya yaar. The end of the movie was pathetic.
