Laga Chunari Mein Daag Movie Review
Three Bengali best actresses and a successful Bengali director, two youth Icons and the biggest producer of bollywood, many movie lovers were waiting for a good product called Laga Chunari Mein Daag, but sorry to them.
As expected and predicted by trade pundits Laga Chunari Mein Daag, Fails to even come closer the earlier good films of these biggies.
LCMD is story about a struggle of a small town girl Badki (Rani Mukharjee) who lives in Banaras with her younger sister Chutki (Konkana) and parents Anupam Kher and Jaya Bachchan. Suddenly things turn around for the family and Badki comes to Mumbai so she can help her family financially.
She enters into the prostitution and starts earning and becomes a Mame but here comes another twist when Chutki comes to Mumbai and one day comes to know the realty about her sister.
In-between both sisters also found their love angels in Abhishek Bachchan and Kunal Kapoor.
Like in every third Hindi film there is villain Sushant Sharma and Tinu Anand who are also related to the sisters.
On the whole nothing new, many times repeated story, no so good music and a very-very bad screenplay.
The only good thing about the movie is the performances by actors in lead roles and a trade mark cinematography of Director Pradeep Sarkaar.
After Pareenita expectations were very high from Pradeep Sarkaar specially when the film is produced by Yash Raj Films.
All an all Yash Raj Films may face another jolt after TARA RUM PUM and JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM.
