US threat to review aid to Pakistan

Police wielding assault rifles rounded up hundreds of opposition leaders and rights activists on Sunday after Pakistan’s military ruler, Gen Pervez Musharraf, suspended the constitution, ousted the chief justice and deployed troops to fight what he called rising Islamic extremism.
