World’s largest diamond-7,000 carats claims SA mining firm
A South African mining firm has claimed to have discovered the world’s biggest-ever diamond. The giant gem is said to be about 7,000 carats—which would be twice the size of the Cullinan Diamond, centrepiece of the British crown jewels.

Jobseekers who have uploaded their resumes to Monster.com now have even more cause for concern as the website has been hit by hackers stealing as many as 1.6 million resumes and other information, a Symantec researcher has discovered.
As per webindiabuzz report, Internet security firm Symantec Corp. reported the security breach on Sunday after discovering a computer worm called Infostealer.Monstres on the Internet.

Being good-looking really does have its advantages, especially when it comes to a person’s pay packet, for a new survey has found that beautiful people earn more than their ‘ugly’ workmates.
And, the difference is not slight. In fact, attractive men and women earn as much as 15% more than the worst-looking person in their office. Economists James Andreoni and Ragan Petrie of London, who carried out the study wrote that ‘this happens even though beautiful people contribute just as much as other workers.’

Vivek says Sorry, Salman No Thanks
It’s one of Bollywood’s oldest mantras – let bygones be bygones. And on Sunday, actor Vivek Oberoi decided to do just that, when he made an impromptu gesture of seeking forgiveness from actor Salman Khan. But it seems it didn’t work!
As reported by CNN-IBN, after performing to the hit number Beedi Jalaile with Koena Mitra at the Rajiv Gandhi Awards function in Mumbai, Vivek turned towards Salman who was seated in the front row, folded his hands, then like an errant child bowed in front of him grabbing his ears in forgiveness.

Who is the real winner
The competiton between Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Indian Idol and Voice Of India is hotting up and so is the bid to grab eyeballs..
In recent weeks different celebrities have being roped into the musical talent shows, who besides boosting the viewership are using the platform to promote their forthcoming releases. Govinda and Anil Kapoor was on Indian Idol, Salman Khan - Lara Dutta, Sajid Khan, Vidya Balan and Fardeen Khan on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Anil Kapoor-Akshaye Khanna on Star Voice of India. Govinda’s episode garnered 5.4 TRPs, the Salman special got 8.4 making it the highest so far this season and Anil Kapoor- Akshaye Khanna brought in a rating of 4.
On an average, the TRPs of all the three are quite close with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa at 5.5 making it the top-rated show on Zee, Indian Idol at 4.5 as the numero uno on Sony and Star Voice at 3.9 on Star Plus, which is driven by soaps .
