18k gold vermeil is a high-quality jewellery finish, made using solid 18k gold bonded over hallmarked 925 sterling silver.

Unlike flash plating or standard 1-micron gold plating, which use very thin layers of gold over non-precious base metals like brass or steel, vermeil is crafted on a solid silver base with significantly thicker gold coverage (2.5 microns or more). This makes it far more durable, longer-lasting, and better suited for everyday wear.

Our sterling silver pieces are crafted using 92.5% pure silver, blended with a small amount of other metals to give them the strength needed for everyday jewellery.

At Nazariya, our sterling silver is finished with rhodium plating — a precious metal from the platinum family. This adds a layer of protection that makes the jewellery brighter, more resistant to tarnishing, and more durable for regular wear.

Rhodium also gives silver a smooth, mirror-like finish, helping pieces keep their shine longer and making them easier to care for.

Natural precious gemstones tend to be extremely expensive. And so, we choose to use brilliant quality lab-grown gemstones, such as diamonds, sapphires, emeralds and rubies. This allows us to create accessible pieces without compromising on design, sparkle and overall look of the jewellery.

'9k' or '365' hallmark for solid gold jewellery, certifying the base metal to be 9k gold

Nazariya jewellery is designed to fit into everyday life - made with materials chosen for regular wear, durability, and ease.

That said, all fine jewellery will last longer with a little mindful care.

Your jewellery can be worn day to day, and many customers comfortably wear their pieces while showering. Ensure to wipe your jewellery dry after exposure to water. However, frequent exposure to chlorine, salt, chemicals, and perfumes can gradually affect the finish of any jewellery over time.

To keep your jewellery looking its best with everyday wear:

• Avoid direct contact with perfumes and chemicals - apply beauty products first, then put your jewellery on.
• Wipe after wear - gently clean your pieces with the polishing cloth provided to remove oils and residue.
• Store it thoughtfully - keep your jewellery in a dry place, ideally in its original Nazariya pouch.
• Be mindful of impact - all Nazariya jewellery features gemstones. Avoid hard knocks to help ensure stones remain secure over time.
